Kotobukiya teases their Winter WonFes 2016 figures

Yes folks, it’s that time of the year again when our wallets are going to suffer critical hits from the figures being revealed during Wonder Festival. One of the companies responsible for a great number of wallet drains is Kotobukiya, and they have started teasing fans on the figures they are revealing for the Winter 2016 edition of the bi-annual figure extravaganza known as Wonder Festival (or WonFes for short). Get ready for some wallet bleeding folks!

Is that a new Red figure from Pokemon we spy? And is that a new Hibiki figure from Kantai Collection? And are we getting a new Verniy Cu-Poche figure? And is one of those figures from Sakura Wars? Are we getting a new iDOLM@STER figure? But the most talked about figure reveals from Kotobukiya so far are the new Horror Bishoujo figures, which give Edward Scissorhands and Chucky the bishoujo make-over! They better make Chucky look like a psychotic loli!

Ouch! Right in the bank account! One of Japan’s biggest and most important figure events will finally be kicking off at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba on February 7, 2015.

And like Good Smile Company, Kotobukiya also announced their WonFes booth pre-orders, which are comprised of Cu-Poche Yukari Akiyama (4,000 yen) and Frame Arms – Frame Arms Girl – Stylet – Blue Impulse with Tamago Hikooki (5,500 yen).

Now, if you will excuse me, I think it’s time to prepare my wallet and brace for impact…
