CLAMP’s Cardcaptor Sakura is considered one of the greatest magical girl series to ever come out of Japan, and as the franchise is celebrating its milestone 20th anniversary, Nakayoshi magazine, which serialized the CLAMP manga back in the 90’s, has announced there will be a “New Project” for the Cardcaptor Sakura franchise.
What this new project exactly is is still a huge mystery however, as Nakayoshi magazine did not indicate any other details about it. What we do know is that this new project will be part of the franchise’s 20th Anniversary celebrations. More details about this new project will be revealed on a later date.
So, what do you guys think this new project will be? Will it be a new manga series by CLAMP? Will it be a reboot of the classic 90’s anime we all grew up to love? Is this new project a spin-off of the original? Only time will tell, so hang on to your seats.
