Namco Bandai Games has streamed a new promotional video for Gekijouban Madoka Magica: The Battle Pentagram (劇場版 魔法少女まどか☆マギカ The Battle Pentagram), right on the eve of Part 3′s October 26 theatrical release in Japan.
The new PV opens with a familiar scene from the hit TV anime series, a dark and grisly take on the normally bright and cheerful genre of “Magical Girls” anime, before delving into the core mechanics of the game.
In The Battle Pentagram, you’ll take control of one of five Mahou Shoujo (Magical Girls) from the series, and fight your way through action stages inspired by elements from the anime series.
The action stages are interspliced with conversation parts where your chosen character will interact with the other protagonists through multiple-choice dialogue.
Madoka Magica the Movie: The Battle Pentagram for the PlayStation Vita comes out December 19, 2013 in Japan.
