This bottle of Mouretsu Pirates Shochu gives rum a run for its money

Fifteen men on a dead man’s chest, Yo-Ho-Ho and a bottle of rum shochu! Wait, what?!

Pirates and alcoholic beverages have been synonymous since the 1700′s and now, Science Fiction anime series Mouretsu Pirates gives it a Japanese twist with their own pirate shochu.

This 720mL bottle of Shochu is made from red sweet potatoes and  local rice. It comes with a Mouretsu Pirates key chain.

It is scheduled for release November 1, 2013 and can now be reserved via Rakuten (this particular vendor ships internationally) for 2,100 yen.
