Studio Trigger‘s fighting anime Kill-la-Kill has most certainly grabbed a lot of attention since it premiered earlier this month and their sexy main character, Ryuuko Matoi has turned a lot of heads with her unique weapon and um… school uniform.
According to Kill-la-Kill’s official website, Movic will be releasing a paper cutter based on Ryuuko’s deadly half-scissor blade.
The blade measures in at 15cm and it is made of zinc alloy (die cast metal). This bad boy can most certainly handle your home, school or office paperwork, just like the real half-scissor blade handles Honnouji Academy’s most fearsome star students. This item is set for release early December 2013 and will cost 2,300 yen.
The real half-scissor blade from the anime was split and half. One half stayed with Ryuuko while the other was stolen by a mysterious thief after the murder of her father. This incident set the stage for her rampage of revenge in Kill-la-Kill.
