Warning- If baked goods are your weakness, this article just might be your kryptonite. From November 13, Japan’s leading doughnut franchise, Mister Donut, in collaboration with Peanut Comic’s Snoopy, plans to release a line of speciality Snoopy donuts.
Priced at 157 yen each, two of these delectable treats are shaped as the faces of Snoopy and Woodstock while the rest are Mister Donut classics done in a Snoopy motif. The two face-shaped donuts are baked with yeast dough, stuffed with a whipped filling, and then coated with either white chocolate for the “Snoopy donut” or lemon chocolate for the “Woodstock donut”.
Starting November 25, for 1,050 yen the “Mister SNOOPY Christmas set” will come with four or five donuts with the purchase of speciality Snoopy and Woodstock plates or bowls. Pre-orders start the 13th of next month.
The Christmas theme doesn’t end with plates and bowls. There are also white chocolate drizzled Christmas tree styled donuts offered in two different versions; the “chocolate tree” coated with chocolate and nuts, and the “berry tree” covered in strawberry icing. In addition to these donuts, others also come shaped like Christmas wreaths with the choice of three flavors; chocolate, strawberry, and white chocolate. Each wreath priced at 147 yen.
The Mister SNOOPY Christmas set lasts until December 25, so hurry fast and order these sweets before they’re all gone!
