Gundam.info has announced the latest round of location tests for the upcoming Gundam 2v2 dogfighting game Mobile Suit Gundam EXTREME VS. MAXI BOOST.
The location tests will begin tomorrow, January 17, and they will be held for three days in two locations simultaneously until Sunday, January 19, 2014. It will be held at Namco Nihonbashi arcade in Osaka and also at the Tokyo Gulliver shop in Matsudo, Chiba.
The two locations will be testing out the upcoming game as well as the arcade linkage function of the Gundam VS. Mobile. There will be a play limit however as players can only add up to three CPU’s and can only have a five-game-winning streak.
The game is slated for release in arcades in Japan March 2014, and will feature mobile suits from different Gundam franchises from the original 1979 anime to more recent ones like Gundam UC, Gundam Age and Gundam 00.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. Maxi Boost is the sequel to Gundam Extreme VS Full Boost, which will be available for the PlayStation 3 on January 30, 2014.
Maxi Boost will feature new additions to the game like EX Overdrive which replaces the Assault and Blast Bursts.
