Taking the number 1 spot in the Tornado Rankings is Mahou Sensou which edges out favorites Nisekoi and Chuunibyou 2 with its interesting characters and engaging story line.
Hoozuki no Reitetsu’s honest to goodness comedic value pulls the rug from underneath fan-favorite Nisekoi which has been highly praised by many fans in Japan. Both series are based on highly successful manga and have so far been much talked about by fans.
Noragami’s unique story and action-packed scenes give the anime its #5 spot. #6 Sakura Trick meanwhile has been talked about in many circles and has left many anime fans craving for more. Its sweet yet blatantly Yuri story has won over a lot of new fans, many of whom are new comers when it comes to the girl-on-girl Yuri genre.
The second season of Silver Spoon meanwhile only makes it to the #11 spot which has surprised many fans as it is one of the most highly anticipated anime coming into the Winter 2014 season.
Idol anime Wake Up Girls! did not make it to the Tornado Rankings top 20 which surprised many since the anime has given the city of Sendai a lot of attention as of late.
