Over 100 hopefuls turned up, all dressed for the occasion and with their brightest smiles forward, when SGCafe held the auditions for its first ever maid and butler cafe — which has now been confirmed to take place on February 8, 2014, at Bliss House theme restaurant in The Central (above Clark Quay MRT station).
The auditions, which also took place at Bliss House, saw Japanese subculture fans from all walks of life in Singapore apply to be one of the maids or butlers who will be part of the line-up for the event.
Many of those who came down were the crowd you’d expect to turn up for such auditions — students and former maid cafe staffers, for instance.
But the SGCafe team was surprised to see quite a number of working professionals apply to be part of the maid and butler cafe as well.
Over the next couple of days, we’ll be revealing the full line-up for SGCafe’s first ever maid and butler cafe, as well as further details for the event (there will be performances!).
So make a date with SGCafe’s maids and butlers on February 8, 2014. Once again, the event will be held at Bliss House in The Central (above Clark Quay MRT station), from 11AM to 6PM.
Reservation tickets for the one-day-only event have already begun selling. You can purchase them through this link here.
