Anime fans have been buzzing since ufotable announced that they will be having their own take on the highly popular fantasy anime series, Fate/Stay Night.
According to Volume 9 of Type Moon Ace magazine, the highly anticipated anime will air during the Fall 2014 anime season which starts at the beginning of October.
The magazine also announced that the upcoming Fall 2014 anime will be directed by Takehiro Miura. Miura has directed the Type Moon anime movie, Kara no Kyoukai 6: Boukyaku Rokuon so he would be no stranger when it comes to Type Moon works.
The new anime will also feature new scenes which were not featured in the original 2006 anime.
The original 2006 anime as well as the 2010 movie Fate Unlimited Blade Works were produced by Studio DEEN while the magical girl spin-off Fate Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya is produced by Silver Link. ufotable meanwhile produced the Fate prequel, Fate/ Zero.
The magazine also reveals that Fate/Stay Night’s sequel, Fate/Hollow Ataraxia will be ported to the PlayStation Vita.
The magazine also revealed that the character of Bazett Fraga McRemitz will be voiced by Ami Koshimizu for the PS Vita version. Koshimizu is known for voicing Holo from Spice and Wolf as well as Karen Stadtfeld from Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. Bazett was voiced by Hitomi Nabatame for Fate/ Unlimited Codes Portable.
