Tokyo Chocolate"s Naruto Shippuden Chocolat sold out in Shinjuku

During the ongoing international chocolate festival, Salon du Chocolat which currently being held at Isetan Shinjuku, Tokyo Chocolate’s high-end Naruto Shippuden Chocolat finally makes it to Japanese shores since it was introduced in France in 2013. However, these luxury chocolates got sold out during the event very quickly.

Naruto has proven to be very popular in France and during the 2013 Salon du Chocolat in Paris, the Naruto Shippuden Chocolat made its debut.

These Naruto-inspired chocolates even have a very Japanese flavor as the Naruto chocolate is flavored yuzu (a Japanese citrus) to go with Naruto’s signature orange garb, the Sakura chocolate is flavored sakura or cherry blossoms, Sasuke is flavored Sesame and the Kakashi chocolate has a macha green tea flavor.


One box of the Naruto Shippuden Chocolat contains eight chocolates and costs 1,575 yen, however, these luxury chocolates have proven to be very popular as they have been sold out at the event already. Tokyo Chocolate however has announced that they will be distributing these Naruto chocolates on a later date.
