Gamer Girls are real and just like the guys, they kick butt just as much. With BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma being a huge success in Japan, the game has recently sponsored a tournament, but here’s the kicker, only girls are allowed to play.
The Blazblue: Chrono Phantasma tournament was recently held at the e-Sports Square Akihabara where the girls showed off their fighting game skills last February 10, 2014.
One of the players who entered the tournament was Nagisa who came in costume as a gender-bent Hazama. Nagisa is also the representative of the Girls Gamer Club which also helped organize the event.
The competition was a simple knock-out style tournament with the winner receiving some cool Arc System Works goodies.
When the tournament started, Girls Gamer Club representative Nagisa finally got to show off her skills.
The e-Sports Center Akihabara audience were able to see all the action thanks to a large monitor which was set up on stage.
Multiple monitors have also been placed all over the venue for the enjoyment of the audience.
The “fighters” really enjoyed themselves in the tournament and later posed for a picture.
Looks like the Girls Gamer Club who helped organize the event also enjoyed themselves.
