Today is February 14, 2014, a day known by many names – Hearts Day, The Day of Hearts, Single Awareness Day, V Day, Friday, Chocolate and Flowers Day, Love Day, Forever Alone Day and of course, Saint Valentine’s Day or just simply Valentine’s Day.
It is a day when couples celebrate their love and is often associated with flowers and chocolates.
In Japan, it is often celebrated by girls as they hand out chocolates to the boy they like in the hopes that sempai will notice them. Several anime series are also celebrating Valentine’s with some V-Day artworks.
Non Non Biyori is celebrating Love Day with a brother in a hole. Well, this looks like it will be for Single Awareness Day though…
Witchcraft Works is doing some love magic with this new artwork
Upcoming anime Gochuumon wa Usagi desu ka? (Is the Order a Rabbit? or Gochiusa for short) has its female cast bring out some chocolates
Gochiusa is also holding a Valentine’s Day event later in Akihabara where voice-recorded Valentine’s messages by the five members of the main female cast will be distributed by the female cast.
Speaking of upcoming anime, Soul Eater spin-off series Soul Eater Not! has Tsugumi Harudori hand out some chocolates
Engaged to the Unidentified has recently shown its Valentine’s Day episode and they are following it up with this cute new artwork.

IS: Infinite Stratos will be promoting their PS Vita game, Ignition Hearts with cosplayers dressing up as Rin, Laura, Cecilia, Charlotte and Houki to hand out chocolates in Sofmap Akihabara. Ain’t that sweet?
Speaking of cosplayers handing out chocolates on Valentine’s, D-Frag! will also be doing the same thing later in Tora no Ana Akihabara B.
So looks like a bunch of lonely lucky guys will still be able to get chocolates from girls for Valentine’s today, in Akihabara (I so wish I could be there).
