Haruhi Suzumiya has the power to bend space and time subconsciously… in other words, she is basically a god. Now what will you do if this whimsical goddess who can destroy and create worlds asks you to donate some blood to the Red Cross?
The Japanese Red Cross Society will be launching a new campaign centered around blood donation and the goddess who is interested in aliens, espers, time travelers and everything that is not normal. It is even supported by Haruhu Suzumiya light novel series author Nagaru Tanigawa and light novel illustrator Noizi Ito.
People who will donate their blood as part of the campaign will receive a very special gift from the Japanese Red Cross Society – a poster featuring the three female members of the SOS Brigade, the “goddess” Haruhi Suzumiya, the “time traveler” Mikuru Asahina and the “alien” Yuki Nagato.
The blood donation campaign begins on Saturday, March 8, 2014 and will be held in seven different locations namely the Mint Kobe blood donation room, The Sannomiya Center Plaza, The Shin Nagata Tetsujin statue, Akashi, Nishi, Tsukaguchi and Himeji Miyuki.
By donating blood, not only will you get a cool B20size poster, but you will also be helping save some lives… and also probably help save the entire world as Haruhi might destroy this one and recreate a new world should you not donate.
