Popular bento take-out chain Hokka Hokka Tei has just announced their collaboration with the extremely successful anime and manga series by Hajime Isayama, Attack on Titan.
This titanic collaboration will begin on March 6, 2014 and aims to expand their customer base to the younger demographic aged 20 and younger. It will feature the Attack on Titan Lunch Bowl, a large meal enough to satiate a titan. It will cost 590 yen.
The lunch bowl is one big shout out to the series as its components include “Roast Pork Stolen by Sasha”, shredded cabbage to simulate the grasslands often traversed by the Survey Corps, Potato Salad inspired by who else? The Potato Girl herself, Sasha! The meal also includes a “gigantic” piece of tartar chicken to simulate the attacking titans. Each component of the meal has a deep meaning, even the bowl which symbolizes the walls which protect humanity.
Limited edition Attack on Titan key chains will also be available as part of the campaign. These key chains will be given for free for each purchase of the Attack on Titan Lunch Bowl (one key chain will be given per order).
For every three purchases of the meal, you also get the chance to win a limited edition Cleaning Levi figure. To apply, you must present a receipt totaling three purchases where you will be presented with a web patch or a post card.
