The two newly announced Pokemon games, Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire offer Pokefans a newer and more updated take on the Gameboy Advance classic games Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire and they have even more reasons to rejoice the new games as new details have finally surface thanks to some scans from Coro Coro.
Let’s start things off with the unveiling of the new mega evolutions for the Hoenn starters which feature Mega Swampert, Mega Sceptile and the previously announced Mega Blaziken. Mega Sceptile will become a stronger Grass-Dragon type while Mega Swampert will retain its Water-Ground element. Trainers will need a Mega Bangle to evolve them.
The scan also reveals Mega Diancie. Aside from the reveal of how it will look, there were no other details announced but expect this legendary mega Pokemon to be quite powerful.
The scans also reveal Atomic Groudon and Atomic Kyogre. Looks like they are not really Mega Evolutions but “Atomic Devolutions” (This may sound differently from the official English versions as these are just translations from the Japanese magazine). Not much more have been revealed for these two as of the moment.
Coro Coro also reveals the new looks for the new games’ hero and heroine and announced that the mach bike and the acro bike will be making their return.
Series villains Team Magma (for the Omega Ruby) and Team Aqua (for the Alpha Sapphire) will also be making their return, along with their dastardly admins. Like the heroes, they have also been redesigned.
Steven Stone will also be making a return to the games
Are you excited or what? What are your thoughts on the new reveals?
Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Pokemon Omega Ruby will be released simultaneously worldwide on November 2014 for the Nintendo 3DS.
