The very first day of the Charahobby 2014 C3 X Hobby Expo or C3 Hobby has finally started and after we have taken a good look at some of Bandai’s offerings, let us now look at some of the figures, plastic models, and other merchandise from the other companies.
Let’s start things off with Good’ol Megahouse which put their best foot forward in order to show everyone their upcoming products which include their Cosmo Fleet Special, Variable Action D-Spec series, and their various PVC series which include Nisekoi’s Chitoge, “trap” Tiera Erde, Elpeo Ple or Puru, and three of Gundam Build Fighters’ most popular girls, China, Aila, and the cause for everyone’s celebration, a new PVC figure for Rinko Iori!
Kotobukiya was also present during the event with their own PlaMo kits
Takara Tomy meanwhile had some great Transformers to show.
However, if there was one booth which really stole the show during C3 Hobby, it’s the Kantai Collection booth. The ground-breaking web browser game by DMM and Kadokawa games went all out during the event and showcased not only Kantai Collection figures and plastic models, they also showcased a whole lot of other merchandise from T-shirts, dolls, clocks, and others. The booth also promoted the anime which will be premiering January 2014. It also had several KanColle cosplayers dressing up as Yamato, Shimakaze, and Kongou.
Yes, they even have Kantai Collection wedding rings. Looks like they forgot to throw in the Kantai Collection kitchen sink!
The C3 Hobby Expo 2014 kicked off today, August 23, 2014 and will be ending tomorrow, August 24. It is held at the Makuhari messe Hall in Chiba, Japan.
