In the 7th volume of The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan manga, an announcement reveals that its TV anime adaptation is slated for a 2015 premiere. Further details were not included.
The story unfolds in the world of The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, where Yuki Nagato is not an alien. Instead, she is the shy president of her school’s literature club. The manga lets readers see the original Haruhi Suzumiya characters, Yuki and Kyon, in a new light.
The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan is a spin-off manga written and illustrated by PUYO. The production for this upcoming anime was originally revealed on haruhi.tv last December.
