Mark your calendars GunPla fans as Bandai and official Gundam website, Gundam.info, has announced that the Singapore leg of the GunPla Expo World Tour 2014 will be taking place from September 10 – 21, 2014 over at the Bugis+ Atrium Level 2.
The event will feature exhibits for the two upcoming Gundam series, Gundam Build Fighters Try, and the new Mobile Suit Gundam Reconguista in G. There will also be a Gundam Build Fighters 3D Mapping Booth.
As this is the GunPla Expo, Singapore’s best modelers will be displaying their entries for the GunPla Builders World Cup 2014 qualifiers. The winners of these qualifiers will be heading to Tokyo to compete for the most coveted prize in GunPla, the GunPla Builders World Cup.
GunPla master Katsumi Kawaguchi himself will also be participating in the event, and he will be giving some tips on GunPla building. And of course, limited edition GunPla will also be put up for sale and a special screening of the epic conclusion of Mobile Suit Gundam UC, Episode 7 will also be parts of the event.
And finally, you can meet the Gundam Girls during the event, and you can also meet several awesome Gundam cosplayers. Remember that Gundam ZZ cosplayer who got lost in the streets of Taiwan? Turns out he was a participant during the Taiwan leg of the GunPla Expo World Tour. So if you want to meet some cool Gundam cosplayers, this is definitely the right event.
