Gamescon 2014, which was held in Cologne, Germany, is one of the biggest and most important gaming events in the world. The event also features several great cosplays and Japanese media and gaming website Dengeki Online has just returned from the event and has now posted a compilation of some of the event’s best cosplays.
The cosplay village was one of the many features of the event where cosplayers gathered and strutted their stuff for the rest of the world to see.
As the event is all about the video games, majority of the cosplayers came in as characters from various video game series, such as Metal Gear, The Legend of Zelda, Street Fighter, Final Fantasy, League of Legends, Devil May Cry, Assassin’s Creed, and many many more.
There were also several who did not cosplay video game characters, but characters from anime/manga, comic books, and others. Then again, some of these characters have their own video games like the Naruto cosplayers, Kirito and Asuna from Sword Art Online, Batman, The Survey Corps from Attack on Titan, Iron Man, and Deadpool, so… OK, moving on…
The event, which ran from August 5 – 9, 2014 was a huge success with over 335,000 visitors.
So, what do you guys think of these European cosplayers?
