We’re midway through the summer season and so far it has been red hot!
Anime like Free! and High School DXD have amped up the fan service for both genders while others like Monogatari and Watamote have most certainly engaged the audience with wit and humor. Now, Akihabara-based media website Akiba Souken has asked people to rank the anime they think is the best one so far, and with a total of 1,732 votes, here are your results:

There you have it, Watamote takes the top spot. Well, looks like Tomoko not being popular is all in her head because the fans sure love to see her… SUFFER. Let’s face it, a lot of people watch the show to see her suffer. She’s kinda like the anime version of Bad Luck Brian.
Most of the top 10 is not really much of a surprise. Free! has been making waves even before the summer season has started and Monogatari is well… Monogatari, just one of the most popular series ever. Fate Ilya, Danganronpa, Rozen Maiden and Silver Spoon have maintained their fan favorite status and Servant X Service has captured the hearts of fans with its wit and humour.
