Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2 -- Sega to release accessory set alongside game

In Japan, there is a limited edition of Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2 (3DS) that includes a special Nendoroid Puchi Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2 Ver. alongside a copy of the game.

But what if you want to bring that Nendoroid Puchi Hatsune Miku, as well as your 3DS with the game in it everywhere you go?

You’d need some kind of protection for your precious Mikus.

That’s where the Hatsune Miku: Project Diva 2 accessory set comes in!

The Hatsune Miku: Project Diva 2 accessory set, which will retail for 3,360 yen when it comes out on November 28, 2013 (which is also the date of release for the game), includes:

  • Two hard protection covers – one sized to fit the Nintendo 3DS, while the other is meant for the 3DS XL (3DS LL, as it’s called in Japan)

  • Decoration sticker sets for both the 3DS and 3DS XL (2 pieces exterior, 1 piece interior)

  • A gamaguchi pouch

  • Nendoroid Puchi Odekake Pouch, which is basically a special pouch designed to fit the Nendoroid Puchi – the word “odekake” means “going out” in Japanese.

In addition to the Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2 accessory set, Sega will also be selling both the 3DS and 3DS XL hard covers from the set separately.

Both hard covers come with a set of decoration stickers intended for your 3DS or 3DS XL, and each standalone hard cover set will retail for 1,680 yen.

In other words, if you buy both the 3DS and 3DS XL hard cover sets (1,680 yen each), you are essentially getting the pouches for free, since the accessory set is priced at 2×1,680 yen or 3,360 yen.

Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2 and the aforementioned accessory set is slated for release in Japan November 28.
