The 2013 Taiwan Comic Exhibition held at the Taipei World Trade Center certainly made a lot of waves the last time when new visual images from the much awaited Patlabor live-action movie was released during the event.
Another one of the event’s highlights was the appearance of popular voice actress (or seiyuu), Iori Nomizu. The voice actress who is currently voicing Blood Lad‘s Fuyumi Yanagi has also provided the voices for Heaven’s lost property‘s Nymph and Date-A-Live‘s Yoshino as well as Kore wa Zombie Desuka?‘s Haruna.
The voice actress greeted her adoring Taiwanese fans who welcomed her with much enthusiasm. The voice actress was even kind enough to pose with some cosplayers who dressed up as some of her characters namely Yoshino, Nymph, Fuyumi and Shiina Mafuyu from Seitokai no Ichizon.
The voice actress also captivated the audience with her singing when the fans requested her. The voice actress has been responsible for singing some of the opening songs for the anime she has appeared in like Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka? and Uppotte!!.
The event which featured 22 artists from Japan garnered thousands of visitors. Some of the exhibits featured during the event included a One Piece exhibit which showcased 25 replicas of the illustrations originally done by Eichiro Oda himself. The event also featured some cosplay as well as manga and anime merchandise which were up for sale during the event.
