Back when Sega and Ascii Media Works first announced that Durarara!!’s Shizuo Heiwajima and Accel World’s Kuroyukihime would be joining the playable roster of Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax, a first trailer for the game was unveiled – without any gameplay footage of the newly announced fighters.
That’s being rectified today, via an updated version of the first trailer that Sega has just released on the Interwebs. Have at it, Internets! Just in case you didn’t quite get enough of all the action from the Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax location test this past weekend (there doesn’t appear to be an archive).
One of several projects in a series of “Dengeki Bunko vs Sega” collaborations intended to commemorate the light novel publisher’s 20th anniversary, Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax is a 2D anime fighter developed by Ecole and French-Bread – the makers behind the Melty Blood and Under Night In-Birth fighting games.
Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax will first be released in Japanese arcades, before being ported over to an unspecified home console platform at some point in the future.
