Sega has revealed today that the theme song for Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2, which comes out on November 28 for the 3DS, is a track produced by Mitchie M entitled Ageage Again (アゲアゲアゲイン). Mitchie M’s Freely Tomorrow (featured in Project Diva f/F) is one of my favourite songs, so this pleases me greatly.
Along with that announcement, Sega has also shared the music video for Ageage Again (pronounced ‘ah-gay-ah-gay again’; ‘ageage’ in Japanese roughly translates to ‘get high’) that will appear in Project Mirai 2.
On top of this music video, the actual game will also have a different opening intro video that features the song – you’ll have to wait a little longer to see it!
If you’re digging Ageage Again, you might be interested to know that the track will also be featured in Mitchie M’s upcoming first major album, Greatest Idol (グレイテスト・アイドル), slated to hit record stores in Japan November 6, 2013.
The album’s jacket illustration, which you see below, is done by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto – best known for his work on the character designs for Neon Genesis Evangelion.
