Sega brings Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto together in October prizes

Sega has unveiled their latest lineup for their Sega Prize series of crane game rewards. This month’s prizes will feature not only Miku, but UTAU Kasane Teto as well. Based around the Project Diva F and upcoming Project Mirai 2 games, the prizes Sega is offering fans this time are just the right amount of fall fun.

Some of that fall spirit comes in the form of cookie tins based on OSTER Project’s Trick and Treat not only look good but come filled with VOCALOID imprinted cookies. Rin, Len, and Miku all make appearances both on the tin and inside it.

There are two colors to collect of the Project Mirai 2 bento boxes. Both feature the same image from Project Mirai 2, but one is closer to Miku green, while the other is closer to Good Smile orange.

For when you get thirsty, these thermoses are meant to coordinate with the bento prize, coming in the same colors and featuring the same image. In fact, Sega recommends you try to win the two so that you can go on a fall picnic.

Featuring each VOCALOID in the Project Diva games, specifically from Project Mirai 2, these scrunchies are a good way to win your favorite Crypton VOCALOID if they aren’t featured in another prize.

Of course, you can’t forget summer either. The figure prize for this set will be of Miku in a polkadot bikini. Based on the module from the Project Diva F game and standing at 21 centimeters, it’s certainly the most eye-catching you can win.

Kasane Teto is finally getting her turn to enter Sega’s prize series. For those unfamiliar with this twin-drill bearing diva, she is not a VOCALOID but is powered by the free UTAU software. The reason she looks so much like a VOCALOID, though, is because she originated as a prank on 2ch just before Luka Megurine was released. Unlike Momo Momone and Ritsu Namine (as well as the hundred of other UTAU voices), she’s been picked up for merchandising and even made an appearance in Project Diva. It seems she’s finally getting her own recognition, though, as one of her prizes is a choice of two high-quality music boxes.

The other prizes that will help show your Teto love in public are a set of two t-shirts. The first is a simple white shirt with Teto leaning against her name. The second features Teto in front of a string of kanji which surprisingly isn’t her catchphrase from Triple Baka “You really are so stupid.”

Each prize will be available in October, though the picnic supplies won’t be available until mid-month and the scrunchies not until the later third. So hone your UFO skills and hope the game gods smile upon you this month.
