2013 was truly the year of the titans and it is evident in cosplay costume maker Cospa‘s end-of-the-year costume sales rankings.
Attack on Titan‘s Survey Corps short jacket was Cospa’s biggest seller for 2013 and the jacket was not just used for cosplay but for everyday use as well. According to Cospa, the demand for these jackets have been overwhelming.
Cospa’s second best selling costume for 2013 is the Otonokizaka High School uniform jacket from the Love Live! series.
Meanwhile, the female school uniform set from Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! takes the #3 spot in Cospa’s end-of-the-year costume sales rankings.

10: Shimakaze costume set from Kantai Collection
The Shimakaze costume set was only released last December and has made it to #10 in the end-of-the-year costume sales rankings. If the costume was makes it to the #10 spot in the sales in just one month of release, imagine how many they will sell in a few more months. According to Cospa, they are expecting the Shimakaze costume to get even more popular in the future. This may be because Kantai Collection is expected to have its anime adaptation air later this year. However, no exact date has been given as to when the KanColle anime will premiere.
