The official website for Love Live! School Idol Festival has announced that the game will be getting new Mandarin Chinese, South Korean, and English versions in the Spring of 2014. Each will be run on their own separate servers rather than all trying to share the already stressed Japanese server (a wise decision). Here’s the game’s most recent commercial:

Love Live! School Idol Festival has a mixture of rhythm and social game elements. In Live Mode, players rhythmically tap a series of circles to help the Love Live! girls perform a song (which will be something out of the anime). Successful tapping will unlock more idol cards, which can then be leveled up and even combined, oddly enough. There’s also the more social-oriented Story Mode which involves managing the girls’ professional lives as well as hanging out with them on a more casual basis.

The smartphone game is the brainchild of KLabGames and Bushiroad, and is currently available for Japanese iOS and Android devices.
