With Sword Art Online fans still buzzing about the announcement of the show’s second season, Dengeki Bunko magazine reveals the new character designs for the upcoming season’s deadly new arc, Gun Gale Online (GGO).
New magazine scans from Vol. 36 of the magazine (March 2014 edition) not only reveals what Kirito’s new feminine avatar looks like but also his calm, cool and collected new partner Sinon.
Sinon or Shino Asada will be the main girl of Sword Art Online’s third arc and she will be armed with the PGM Ultima Ratio Hecate II sniper rifle as she helps Kirito solve the Death Gun incident where characters who are killed by the character Death Gun also die in real life. Her partner Kirito meanwhile has won over plenty of fans with his new look…
The new scans also reveal the character designs for Shion/ Sinon’s real life friend, Kyouji Shinkawa who also plays GGO under the name Spiegel. Also revealed is the design of the mysterious antagonist, Death Gun who is responsible for the real life deaths of many GGO gamers.
Along with Kirito, Sinon, Spiegel and Death Gun, Dengeki Bunko also reveals the character designs for the other GGO players as well as Seijurou Kikuoka and Nurse Aki who will be helping Kirito in the real world as he delves into the mystery that is Death Gun.
