During the Dengeki Game Festival earlier today, March 16, 2014, Hyperdimension Neptunia developers Compile Heart recently conducted a stage event titled Compile Heart Dynamite Sugoi Kansha Stage 2014! 2014-Nen mo Nepu Nepu Shiteyanyo! and from the title alone, you can tell it had something to do with their hit video game series.
The event announced that two new video game titles will in fact be joining the franchise. The first game announced is an action game titled Choujigen Action Neptune U (Hyperdimension Action Neptunia U). Not much has been announced on this new game, not even which platform it will be using, but a screenshot shows Neptune in the middle of a group of Dogoos and she looks like she is dancing.
The second game announced is Shin Jigen Game Neptune VII (New Dimensional Game Neptunia VII). The game was announced in a cryptic way with phrases like “The series’ greatest threat is looming” and “A change in Gamindustry” as well as “The goddess who fell into the dark side” and “A violent Gamindustry battle will take place over dimensions.”
The game is scheduled for release later this year, 2014 and like Hyperdimension Action Neptunia U, no platform has been decided for this game yet.
