The official Pokemon movie website has recently given fans the power to decide which of four Pokemon, legendary steel/psychic Pokemon Jirachi, legendary fire/psychic Pokemon Victini, legendary water Pokemon Manaphy and legendary dark Pokemon Darkrai, will be appearing in the Pikachu short for the upcoming Pokemon movie, Pokemon XY: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction.
Now, with the dust has settled and the votes have been tallied, the winner for that poll has finally been announced and the Pokemon appearing in the movie will in fact be the dark Pokemon Darkrai who thrilled fans in the 2007 movie, Pokemon: Diamond & Pearl the Movie where it helped save the world from destruction.
Darkrai will not only appear in the Pikachu short, which is titled, Pikachu, Kore Nanno Kagi?, but it will also be a special gift to those who will buy advance tickets to watch the movie.
The movie’s poster has also been revealed and it features the new Pokemon, Diancie, X and Y legendary Pokemon Yveltal and Xerneas as well as Ash and the gang (with Pikachu of course).
Pokemon XY: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction is scheduled to premiere on July 19, 2014 and will feature the Pokemon Megavolutions as well as the legendary Pokemon Yveltal and Xerneas and the newest Pokemon, Diancie. The movie will once again star Ash/ Satoshi and Pikachu.
