Keihan Railway has recently announced their collaboration with Kyoto Animation’s popular anime titled Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions or Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! and it will be promoting the second season’s Blu-ray and DVD releases.
The collaboration will feature several trains wrapped in a Chuunibyou theme and it will contain the series logo as well as all six main characters, Yuuta “Dark Flame Master” Togashi, Rika “Evil Eye” Takanashi, Sanae “Mjolnir Hammer” Dekomori, Shinka “Mori Summer” Nibutani, Kumin Tsuyuri and Satone ”Sophia Ring SP Saturn VII” Shichimiya. All passengers will surely waver at such a dark sight!
The train interior will also be decorated in a Chuunibyou theme which will certainly leave many passengers bowing down to the might of the great Tyrant’s eye and her partner, Dark Flame Master! These Chuunibyou trains will be travelling down Keihan Electric Railway’s Otsu line starting Tuesday, March 18, 2014.
The collaboration will also feature special Chuunibyou train tickets which will be enclosed in special circular “Evil Eye” mounts. They also feature special information about the characters as well as a mini map of the Otsu line. These special tickets will be released on April 26, 2014.
The anime’s volume 1 will go on sale starting March 19, 2014 so it is no surprise that the collaboration begins on the day before it is released (March 18).
