With its March 19, 2014 release date of the upcoming J-Stars Victory VS just a few days away, Namco Bandai games has released four new gameplay videos featuring four of the game’s main fighters.
The first video takes a look at Ishiyama High School’s top delinquent, “The Child-rearing Bad-Ass”, Tatsumi Oga from Beelzebub. Oga can do various combinations with his “kid”, Beelzebub and do high-impact moves like Zebul Seal and Zebul Blast. He can also hury opponents with his signature Burying Punch as well as shock opponents with his Baby Beel Attack. He can then finish them off with Super Milk Time which lets him merge with Beel.
The second vide takes a look at the “useless” 10th heir to the Vongola mafia family, Tsunayoshi Sawada from Reborn! This speedy little mafioso specializes in fire attacks as well as high speed rushes and combos and then finish of enemies with his powerful X-Burner.
Next, we take a look at the wily silver-haired samurai who just loves breaking the 4th Wall, Gintoki Sakata from Gintama. He is often likened to Marvel’s Deadpool because of his comedic tendencies and 4th Wall breaking. He can even do Goku’s Kamehameha just as Deadpool can do Ryu’s Shoryuken in Marvel vs Capcom III. He can increase his mobility with the scooter and damage opponents with projectiles as well as dual wield both his wooden sword and his Benizakura sword.
Finally, we take a look at Bleach’s resident part-Shinegami, part-human, part-hollow, part-Quincy, Kurosaki Ichigo. He can attack in close with his Zanpakutou, Zangetsu as well as deal damage from afar with his Getsuga Tenshou. He has plenty of dash and rush attacks to wear opponents down. He can also summon his hollow mask to increase his combat capabilities and even transform into his Final Getsuga Tensho.
As mentioned earlier, the game will be released on March 19, 2014 and will be available for the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation Vita.
