After two successful runs in Tokyo (2012) and Osaka (2013) Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece Exhibition is back again this year.
Different from the past two instalments, however, this time the exhibition has set its sights on a new location outside of Japan — the Taiwanese city of Taipei.
Entitled One Piece Exhibition: Original Art X Movies X Experience Pirate King Taiwan, the exhibition will be held at the Huashan 1914 Creative Park in Zhongzheng District, Taipei, from July 1 to September 22, 2014.
As with the Tokyo and Osaka legs, the exhibition in Taiwan will showcase approximately 100 pieces of production artwork from the One Piece manga series. as well as life-size character figures, interactive art displays, exhibition-exclusive anime footage, and more.

There will also be brand new exhibits created specially for the Taiwan leg of the One Piece Exhibition — just as the Osaka exhibition introduced a Punk Hazard Arc experience corner.
Fans in the region will have to wait a little longer to find out more details about the new installations Eichiro Oda is cooking up for Taiwan.
For now, the One Piece creator has shared a key visual for the One Piece in Taiwan, that has the Straw Hat Pirates crew decked out in summer wear — the season during which the exhibition will be held.
Back when the One Piece Exhibition was running in Tokyo and Osaka in 2012 and 2013 respectively, a total of over 800,000 visitors thronged through the two venues’ doors.
Originally held in 2012 to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the One Piece manga series, the exhibition’s contents are said to be supervised by creator Eiichiro Oda himself.
