Huge Pikachu outbreak spotted in Yokohama

The city of Yokohama has once again experienced a huge outbreak of yellow electric mice as Pikachus have taken over Yokohama Minato Mirai. The iconic Pokemon was seen everywhere in the area and will be taking over until August 17, 2014.

The event, which is called the “Pikachu Outbreak in Minato Mirai” has completely embraced the electric Pokemon. Pikachus were seen everywhere in the area, including the Nippon Maru where a large Pikachu can be seen on its bow.

The Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, which was previously invaded by 50 dancing Pikachus, also sported a Pikachu theme, which includes a gigantic inflated Pikachu!

They have also taken over Mark IS Minato Mirai where some of the Pokemon danced to the crowd’s delight.

The Yokohama Landmark Tower wasn’t safe from the Pikachu outbreak as well. A large Pikachu balloon can be seen inside, and a special event was held for the kids.
