During the Dengeki Game Spring Festival 2015 earlier today, an announcement was made that a special collaboration game between two series featuring anthropomorphic console girls will be made! Sega’s Sega Hard Girls will be taking on the console goddesses of Hyperdimension Neptunia.
The game is tentatively titled Chou Jigen Taisen Neptunia vs. Sega Hard Girls Yume no Gattai Special, and it will be released for the PlayStation Vita. Not much has been announced about this mysterious new crossover game between console girls, but expect more announcements to be made in the future.
Hyperdimension Neptunia is a popular video game series which was also later adapted into an anime. It follows the adventures of Neptune, the goddess of Planeptune, and is based on Sega’s unreleased Neptune console. The series also follows the other console goddesses, Blanc (Nintendo’s Wii), Noir (Sony’s PlayStation 3), and Vert (Microsoft’s Xbox 360).
Sega Hard Girls meanwhile is a multimedia project by Dengeki Bunko and Sega which features anthropomorphic versions of their consoles like Dreamcast, Sega Saturn, Mega Drive, and others. Unlike Neptunia which focuses on other brands, Sega Hard Girls focuses only on the consoles released by… well… Sega
