A leaked magazine scan from the upcoming April 2015 issue of Monthly Shounen Gangan magazine has revealed that the fantasy light novel series written by Riku Misora with illustrations by WON, Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry also known as A Chivalry of the Failed Knight, will finally be getting itself an anime adaptation.
Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry revolves around a “failed knight” named Ikki Kurogane who is considered a failure by his classmates because he has no magical skills. One day, he is challenged to a duel by the #1-ranked student, Stella, who is a foreign princess. However, there is a catch to their duel, because the loser must obey the winner for life, and guess who won that match?
There are currently six volumes of the light novels already released with an ongoing manga adaptation by Megumu Soramichi currently being serialized in Monthly Shounen Gangan. Additional information about this anime, such as the cast, staff, and release date, will be announced in days to come
