5pb., which produces the upcoming Psycho-Pass game for the Xbox One, Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness, has announced that the game will be released this May 28, 2015. They also unveiled the game’s limited edition version as well as the special Psycho-Pass Xbox One console decals and pre-order bonuses.
The limited edition will cost 9,800 yen and will contain both the game software and the Dive to Psycho-Pass Psycho-Pass-ru Summer Premium Disc Blu-ray. Those who will pre-order the game will also be receiving a few bonuses, which include the Dive to Psycho-Pass Psycho-Pass-ru Winter Premium Disc Blu-ray and the Sibyl System console decals for the Xbox One. Meanwhile, the regular edition will cost 7,800 yen.
Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness will feature the seven original members of Unit One of the Public Safety Bureau’s Criminal Investigation Division, which include Akane, Shinya, Ginoza, Masaoka, Shusei, Yayoi, and Shion, along with three new characters, and they are Alpha, Nadeshiko Kugatachi, and Takuma Tsurugi.
Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness is developed by 5pb. and takes place during the events of the first season’s first six episodes and will feature an entirely new storyline. You can watch the game’s first official PV through this link
