We all know that virtual diva, Hatsune Miku, is big in Japan, so big that her songs inspire not only anime and movies, but also plays, books, and mangas. This time, one of her most renowned graduation songs, Sakura no Ame, or Sakura Rain by halyosy, is getting itself a live action movie adaptation.
Sakura no Ame is written by halyosy and it is now one of the most popular graduation songs in the country and is played in many Japanese middle schools and high schools during graduation period. The song also inspired several light novels which are based on the song and is published by PHP.
The fifth novel, Fire◎Flower: Kimi wo Suki de Irarete Yokkata, which is written by Hiromi Amamiya, was already released a couple of days ago on March 7.
No staff, cast, and exact release date has been announced so far, however, it seems that the vocaloid-based live-action movie will be shown in Japanese cinemas before the year ends.
