Rumiko Takahashi (Ranma 1/2, InuYasha, Urusei Yatsura) is undoubtedly one of the successful manga creators in the world, and her latest manga to get an anime adaptation, RIN-NE, also known as Kyoukai no Rinne, is confirmed to be getting a second season according to NHK’s Anime World Blog.
According to the announcement, Rinna and Sakura continue about their daily lives after the events of the first season, however, things get a little bit more complicated as new characters, which include a new contracted cat and a new damashigami, get involved.
This new second season is slated to premiere on Spring 2016 and will continue the story of the half-shinegami, Rinne Rokudo and his classmate, Sakura Mamiya. More announcements about this second season will be made in the days ahead.
