Digimon Adventure Tri.‘s first part, Saikai (Reunion), is one of the most highly anticipated animated movies from Japan, and Toei Animation, which is currently producing the anime, is teasing fans even further as they started streaming the anime’s latest theatrical trailer.
The theatrical trailer finally features the new main human voice cast, which is comprised of:
- Natsuki Hanae (Aldnoah.Zero’s Inaho Kaiduka) as Taichi Yagami
- Suzuko Mimori (Love Live!’s Umi Sonoda) as Sora Takenouchi
- Yoshimasa Hosoya (Death Parade’s Ginti) as Yamato Ishida
- Mutsumi Tamura (Seitokai Yakuindomo’s Sayaka Dejima) as Koushirou Izumi

Toei also streamed a second teaser for the upcoming anime movie, which is a bit longer than the first one:
Both videos feature the updated version of the ever-popular Digimon theme song, “Butter-Fly” by Kouji Wada. The first part to this now-anime movie series will premiere in Japan on November 21, 2015 and it will be fittingly titled Saikai, which means Reunion in Japanese. It was originally meant to be a TV anime slated for release last spring, but is now a 6-part movie series.
