This week has been quite the big week for the Monogatari series, as not only has the first Kizumonogatari movie premiered in japan last Friday, but but it has also released a compilation CD for the Monogatari theme songs. It also revealed a new ad for the first Kizumonogatari movie, as well as revealing a new key visual for the second movie. One of the highlights for this huge Monogatari week has got to be the huge Monogatari exhibition over at JR Akihabara Station:
The exhibition includes a chronological timeline of the events of the Monogatari series, which can be quite confusing given the nature of the series.
The exhibition also featured scripts, animation sketches, screenshots, and artwork from the Kizumonogatari film trilogy, as well as the final season of the Monogatari series. Oh, and let’s also not forget Koyomi Araragi’s ahoge, which promoted the Utamonogatari -Monogatari- Theme Song Collection CD.
The exhibition also featured life-size standees of the four main characters of the Kizumonogatari movies, Koyomi Araragi, Tsubasa Hanekawa, Kiss-Shot-Acerola-Orion-Heart-Under-Blade, and Meme Oshino.
