The popular anime thriller about terrorism is getting adapted into a live-action stage play, and the character visuals for two of the play’s male leads, have now been revealed in costume.
One of the two terrorists plotting attacks around Tokyo, Nine, will be played by Ryunosuke Matsumura.
While his partner, Twelve, will be played by Mashuu Ishiwatari.
The play itself will be having deep ties with the anime, as voice actor, Mitsuaki Kanuka (Baku Tech! Bakugan’s Tohga) will reprise his role as Mukasa in the play, while famous voice actress, Megumi Han (Hunter x Hunter’s Gon Freecs and PreCure’s Cure Princess) will be reprising her role as the main villain from the anime, Five. The other cast members include:
- Misaka Momose as Lisa Mishima
- Eiji Takigawa as Shibazaki
- Katsuhiko Ibuka as Hamura
- Naoya Goumoto as Kurahashi
- Chad Mullane as Clarence
The person at the helm of this play is no stranger to 2.5D stage plays, as live-action Persona 3 stage play director, Shutaro Oku, will be the director. The play is scheduled to be performed from March 2 – 6, 2016 at the Zepp Blue Theater Roppongi.
