According to the scan, Mewtwo, Garchomp, and Braixen will be joining the game as playable characters. Previously, a unique Pokken-exclusive version of Mewtwo, Shadow Mewtwo, was released for the game. This version is unique to Pokken Tournament and is currently only found in the game.

While the arcade edition is already available in Japan, the Wii U version will be released on March 18, 2016, while the game’s western edition is scheduled for a Spring 2016 release.
