The first film in the Kizumonogatari trilogy of movies, Tekketsu-hen, has premiered in Japan with much fanfare, and to further promote it, a new TV ad was recently shown in Japan:
A new key visual image has also been revealed for the second film, which is titled Nekketsu-hen. The second movie is scheduled to premiere Summer 2016, while the third movie will be titled Reiketsu-hen.
This week seems to be a big one for the Monogatari series, as not only did the first Kizumonogatari movie premiere last January 8, but the Utamonogatari -Monogatari- Theme Song Collection was also released last January 6.
To promote the new CD, one of the Monogatari series’ most iconic figures made an appearance inside Akihabara Station. That’s right folks, it’s Koyomi Araragi’s ahoge, or idiot hair!
It even moves! Just like… Koyomi Araragi’s ahoge…
