After introducing us to “Anime Batman” himself, Hachiman, My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU author, Wataru Watari’s other light novel project, Girlish Number, is also getting itself its very own TV anime adaptation, as announced by Dengeki G’s Magazine.
Illustrated by Celestial Method illustrator, QP:flapper, the light novel will begin serialization inside the pages of Dengeki G’s Magazine starting January 30, 2016. It will also be getting a manga adaptation, which will be having its mangaka announced in the same issue. Meanwhile, the main cast for the new TV anime will be revealed during the “Game no Dengeki Kanshasai 2016 & Dengeki Bunko Haru no Saiten 2016 & Dengeki Comic Matsuri 2016” event on March 13, which will be attended by Wataru Watari himself.
The anime and light novels will be following Chitose Karasuma, an aspiring voice actess (seiyuu) who is currently studying in college and dreaming of becoming an idol seiyuu, as well as the other seiyuus in the industry.
