[NEW ANIME] New Blue Exorcist anime to premiere in 2017 according to leak

Just a few days before the countdown timer in the official Blue Exorcist anime website reaches zero, a leaked photo has surfaced, and it shows the announcement of a new Blue Exorcist anime, which is scheduled to premiere in 2017.

The leaked image shows the anime’s supposed new visual, and announces that this new 2017 anime will be adapting the Kyoto Impure King Arc. It also promises that a new PV will be revealed, and that this new anime adaptation will be a TV anime.

Since the leaked image has preceded the countdown timer on the official anime website, not much details have been revealed so far. More is expected to be known about the anime when the countdown reaches zero.

[VIDEO] New Love Live! Sunshine!! PV teases worldwide launch

Without a doubt, Love Live! Sunshine!! is one of summer’s most anticipated anime, and it would only be fitting if it would be released in a global scale, right? Fret not Love Livers, because not only is the anime being launched globally, but its latest PV also features English subtitles for all the international audiences out there.

The video teases Love Live! Sunshine!!’s story, and also teases how AQUORS will be formed. It also announces the anime’s worldwide launch in July. More details can be found in the Love Live! franchise’s official website.

The website describes the story as:

“Uranohoshi Girls’ High School, a private school in the seaside neighborhood of Uchiura at Numazu city, Shizuoka prefecture.

A small high school in a corner of Suruga Bay, it is home to nine teens,

led by second-year student Chika Takami, driven by one seriously big dream:

To become the next generation of bright, sparkling “school idols”!

As long as we don’t give up, any dream can come true…

All we have to do now is keep pushing hard for fame and glory!

Now their “School Idol Project” begins to make their dreams come true!”

[VIDEO] Kizumonogatari II: Nekketsu-hen movie gets a new trailer

The upcoming Monogatari series prequel film, Kizumonogatari II: Nekketsu-hen, is the second part of the Kizumonogatari movie trilogy. A new trailer for that film has just been revealed, and it introduces us to three new characters who are going to give Koyomi Araragi a hard time.

The three new characters introduced in the video are the vampire hunters, Dramaturgy, Episode, and Guillotine Cutter, who are all trying to kill a fully-powered Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade. Here’s the film’s visual, which features Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade before she became the Shinobu Oshino we all know and love:

Kizumonogatari II: Nekketsu-hen is slated for release in Japan on August 19, while the third and final part of the trilogy, will be titled Kizumonogatari III: Reiketsu-hen. It is based on NisiOisin’s Kizumonogatari light novel, which follows the story of how Koyomi became the part-vampire that he is, and how he met Shinobu.

[VIDEO] Kizumonogatari II: Nekketsu-hen movie gets a new trailer

Kadokawa ranks its "Top 10 Most Anticipated Anime of Summer 2016", and Love Live! Sunshine ain"t #1

Summer is almost here, and as the outgoing Spring 2016 anime are airing their final episodes, Kadokawa recently conducted a survey, asking 12,169 anime fans on which of the upcoming series from the Summer 2016 season are they most excited to watch.

The survey was conducted using their eb-i Xpress service in the span of two days, from May 23 – 24, 2016. They have announced the Top 10, and they are:

10 – Handa-kun

9 – D.Gray-man Hallow

8 – Saiki Kusuo no Psi-nan

7 – Battery

6 – Active Raid Season 2

 5 – Danganronpa 3

4 – Love Live! Sunshine

3 – Shokugeki no Soma: The Second Plate

2 – BERSERK (2016)

1 – The Heroic Legend of Arslan: Dust Storm Dance

Despite being scheduled to only have EIGHT episodes, The Heroic Legend of Arslan still manages to take the top spot, amid tight competition, which of course includes Love Live! Sunshine, which surprisingly only took 4th place.

Berserk powers its way to #2, proving that oldschool anime fans are really excited to see Guts again, while Shokugeki no Souma, another heavy favorite, takes third place. Finally, rounding out the Top 5 is Danganronpa 3, which will be airing to different arcs in the same week. This means that the anime will be airing two episodes in the same week, one for each arc.

New Rock Musical Bleach"s cast look awesome in costume, as cast visuals are revealed

Tite Kubo’s classic manga, Bleach, is getting its latest live-action rock musical, which is called Rock Musical Bleach- Mou Hitotsu no Chijou, and after a long wait, the stage play’s cast have finally been revealed in costume with a new visual, which teases all the Shinegami madness the manga has been known for.

They also released character visuals for some of the characters in the play, and they include:

The play will be shown at the AiiA 2.5 Theater in Tokyo, which has been famous for showing stage play adaptations of anime, manga, and video games. The play will run from July 28 to August 7, 2016, before heading to the famous Kyoto Gekijou Theater from August 24 to 28, 2016. This will be the first time Tite Kubo’s manga will be getting an anime adaptation since 2012, with the first one, the original Rock Musical Bleach, being shown back in 2005.

The play will be adapting the series’ Soul Society arc, where Ichigo has to rescue Rukia, who has been captured by her fellow Shinigami, and must defeat a gauntlet of powerful captains and vice captains to do so.
