Tekken 7‘s home version is one of the most anticipated fighting games right now, and during E3 2016 in Los Angeles, California, the game’s director, Katsuhiro Harada, went onstage and made several announcements, including the release of the game for not only the PS4 and PC, but also Microsoft’s Xbox One. Here is the trailer, which features the much-awaited face-off between Heihachi and Akuma, who comes over to Tekken from the Street Fighter franchise:
So much hype! It was also announced that the game will be released for those three platforms on early 2017, In his stage presentation, Harada has said:
“Not only will Tekken 7 evolve as a competitive fighting game, there is an all new story mode, that transitions seamlessly from epic narrative cinematics to action filled gameplay,”
Tekken 7’s Steam pre-order listing is already live, and it was also announced that Xbox Live Gold members will be getting a free copy of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 by way of backward compatibility, starting today.
Now who else is hyped?! I surely am!
