The upcoming Monogatari series prequel film, Kizumonogatari II: Nekketsu-hen, is the second part of the Kizumonogatari movie trilogy. A new trailer for that film has just been revealed, and it introduces us to three new characters who are going to give Koyomi Araragi a hard time.
The three new characters introduced in the video are the vampire hunters, Dramaturgy, Episode, and Guillotine Cutter, who are all trying to kill a fully-powered Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade. Here’s the film’s visual, which features Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade before she became the Shinobu Oshino we all know and love:
Kizumonogatari II: Nekketsu-hen is slated for release in Japan on August 19, while the third and final part of the trilogy, will be titled Kizumonogatari III: Reiketsu-hen. It is based on NisiOisin’s Kizumonogatari light novel, which follows the story of how Koyomi became the part-vampire that he is, and how he met Shinobu.
