Which food from anime do you want to eat? Fans weigh in on the anime foods they want to try

Sometimes, the food from anime, even though we know they are not real, would still make us hungry, so for this week’s Charapedia poll, the anime character database has asked fans which anime food do they want to try the most.

The poll had a total of 10,000 votes, 48.8% of whom are male, while 51.2% are female. It featured a total of 102 dishes, but only the Top 20 were revealed, and they are:

20 – Amuro Tooru’s ham sandwich (Detective Conan)

19 – Akiko Minase’s Mystery Jam (Kanon)

18 – Riko Aida’s Curry Rice (Kuroko’s Basketball)

17 – Hoborayaki (Tamayura)

16 – Anpanman’s face (Anpanman)

15 – Grandfather’s Cheesebread (Heidi: Girl of the Alps)

14 – Chaliapin Steak Don (Shokugeki no Souma)

13 – Gomu-Gomu Fruit (One Piece)

12 – Sanae Furukawa’s Rainbow Bread (CLANNAD)

11 – Hanamaru’s Hamburger (Rozen Maiden)

10 – Peach Juice (Air)

9 – Ichiraku ramen (Naruto)

8 – Tae Shimura’s “Dark Matter” (Gintama)

7 – Harekaze Curry (HaiFuri)

6 – Jewel Meat (Toriko)

5 – Cocoa’s special thick toast (Is the Order a Rabbit?)

4 – Sanji’s Pilaf (One Piece)

3 – Transforming Furikake Rice (Shokugeki no Souma)

2 – Chef Tonio’s Spaghetti (Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure)

1 – Senzu Beans (Dragon Ball)

With its miraculous properties, the Senzu Beans from Dragon Ball are already the stuff of legend, and it comes to no surprise as many fans also want to give it a try.

On the other hand, one might think that this list would be littered with food from Food Wars: Shokugeki no Souma, however, only two entries from the cooking anime have made it to the Top 20. The list also shows that there are a lot of masochists out there, as Tae’s awful cooking, which has taken the nickname of “Dark Matter”, has actually beaten Ichiraku Ramen!
